How to Get a Prepaid Cell Phone Plan
You may be interested in finding a prepaid cell phone plan. Well the truth is that you can get a prepaid phone very easy. They sell them in some convenient stores, cell phone outlet and warehouses, online, retailers, and cell phone companies such as Alltel, Verizon Wireless, AT&T, and more. So purchasing a prepaid phone plan is pretty easy.
What do you need to purchase a prepaid cell phone plan?
You will need money of course but you don't need to have your credit checked or sign a contract. Be prepared to pay for the cost of the phone, plan or airtime, and any activation fee if applicable. Some prepaid phones come with airtime and free activation so look closely for these to save you money.
How do I choose what prepaid cell phone service to get?
This mainly depends on what you are looking for in a prepaid phone service but I will give you some pointers.
If you don't talk that much and don't care for many features, Net10 or Tracfone is a good choice to go with. (.10-.35 a minute all the time)
If you are the average prepaid user and don't use extra features such as text and web etc., then At&t or Verizon may be a good choice for you. (A little bit more costly then others but has a variety of plans to choose from with extra features)
If you talk a lot and use a lot of extra features such as text, web, apps, etc.., then I recommend Alltel or Boost Mobile. (Great prepaid plans (monthly too) for people who talk a lot and use extra features with a lot of options to customize your prepaid plan (Alltel). With Boost Mobile they have an unlimited plan for $50 a month that includes unlimited text, mobile, and web.
So all you have to do is review your options (you can find some prepaid phone providers on this site and review each plans details) and decide what you would like in a prepaid service and then visit a retailer near you or online and get started with prepaid cell phone plans.
